Chapter V

It was raining really hard and the wind blew everything away. Link was soaked all-over and held his newly-gained shield above his head. He had visited Lanayru - the third dragon protecting the land of Hyrule - in the desert. The yellow dragon had learnt him a couple of tricks and had given him a shield to protect himself against enemies. Link was covered in sand when he got back and then it had started to rain, turning the sand into mud. Epona's hair stuck together because of the rain and her coat was only dry where her master had laid his cloak over her to sit a bit more comfortable.

Chapter IV

After having wandered around for more than a week, Link had already reached the east side of Hyrule Field and had entered Faron Woods. He was asleep, lying across Epona's back. He hadn't slept well the last days and it had taken its toll on him, making him fall asleep in the middle of the day. The sun stood high in the sky and it was pretty warm. Link's cloak stuck onto his back due his sweat. The horse slowly walked around, minding every step she took. She felt Link's slow breathing on her neck, for he lay face-down on her back, arms and legs hanging down at both sides of her body. She became slightly tired as she carried him aro

Chapter III

Zelda was sealed in his kiss. She tenderly touched his neck and placed a hand on his chest. She pushed him against the wall and crawled on his lap. Link cupped her cheek and kissed her on her mouth. It felt like all stress flew out of them; joy and relief filled their beings.

Their eyes met again. Link gazed into Zelda's eyes and took her hand in his. She leaned against him, with her head against his chest. She heard his heartbeat and got lost in the rhythm. Link laid his arms around her and rested his head against hers. He buried his nose in her hair.

Zelda laughed shortly. "Link?"

Link looked up to the door on the other side
