LoZ: Shadow Wings - Ch II

Chapter II

Floating about thirty feet above the ground Link stared at Zelda with his fire red eyes. His clothing had gained a black tint and enormous wings were folded on his back. He smirked.

Zelda could not move anymore. She gasped. Her greatest fear had become reality.

"Surprised to see him like this, girl?"

A darker - much more frightening - voice came out of Link's mouth. But it was not his.

"L-Link?" Zelda sought for his clear blue eyes, but they were not there anymore. "W-What happened to you?"

Link only laughed. "Foolish girl! Can't you see the difference?"

Then Zelda realised it was not her friend she was talking to. At least

Chapter I

Feathers were falling down from the sky. Beautiful blue, red and white ones covered the stone ground like a blanket. But the red feathers reminded him of something, something long forgotten. He stood up and gently touched a red feather that fell down in front of him. He grabbed it and opened his hand. The red with white striped feather lay in it and he looked very close at the red wonder. As he searched through his memories for something that reminded him of the red feather, a black cloud appeared right above his head.
